With Golf Ontario recently announcing its 2021 Championship schedule, the NGA is excited to announce the return of the NGA Championships that will take place at the Lively Golf & Country Club on June 6th, 2021.
The NGA Championships will again to act as OFFICIAL Golf Ontario Championship qualifiers that give the opportunity for Northern Ontario golfers to earn their spot to compete against the best of
the best from around the province.
Despite last year's cancellations of the NGA Men's Amateur, Mid-Amateur and Senior Amateur (COVID-19), the Kapuskasing Golf Club hosted the NGA Junior Championships that welcomed the next generation of young golfers from Northern Ontario to compete for their chance at gaining exemption to the Golf Ontario Championships.
Bantam golfer Tucker Oreskovich (Kapuskasing Golf Club) proudly represented the NGA at last year's GAO Championships that took place at the Cambridge Golf Club on August 31-September 1 while Brent Hatton (Lively Golf Club) qualified for the 2020 Ontario Senior's Amateur Championship where he finished T-12th.
The NGA would like to thank the Lively Golf Club for allowing their club to host this year's championships, as well as Golf Ontario for the continued support in promoting the game of golf in Northern Ontario.
