NGA Wall Plaque (U-11)
The NGA Men’s Amateur Wall Plaque celebrates a rich history of Northern Ontario golf. It records the Year, Champion & Hometown, Runner-Up & Hometown, Host Town, and Venue for each tournament. Featuring past and present champions dating back to 1926, the plaque represents a prestigious achievement awarded annually at the NGA Men’s Amateur Tournament.
Current Champion: Vincent Palladino
In addition to the Wall Plaque, the NGA Men’s Amateur Champion is presented each year with the NGA Men’s Amateur Championship Trophy. No name appears more frequently on the trophy than that of the late Northern Ontario golf legend, Mr. Bill Morland, who claimed the title 11 times.
Current Champion: Vincent Palladino
The Northern Ontario Men’s Mid-Amateur Trophy is the newest addition to NGA’s collection of awards and is presented to the NGA Men’s Mid-Amateur Champion. This division is intended for men 25+. The inaugural trophy was awarded in 2019 to Jay Jewett of Timberwolf Golf Club.
Current Champion: Eric Macrow
The Al McNaughton Memorial Trophy is presented annually to the NGA Senior Men’s Champion during the Senior Men’s Championship. Each year, the top senior division golfers compete for the honor of having their name engraved on this historic NGA trophy.
Current Champion: Don Martone
The D.J. Jr. E.W.C. Morland Trophy is awarded annually to the top NGA junior at the under 19 championship. Each year, the best junior golfers compete for the honor of having their name engraved on this prestigious trophy, celebrating the future and past of Northern Ontario golf.
