Sudbury Tourism Partnership Announced

(SUDBURY, ON) - The Northern Golf Association is excited to announce that our Northern Ontario Golf Championship has received $1,000 funding from Sudbury Tourism for the June 1-2, 2019 event. The funding will go toward prizing and golfer experience for the event.

"We are extremely grateful for the support of Tourism Sudbury," said Owen Rigg, NGA Director. "Long term, the NGA wants to work to host the best Golf Ontario qualifier and this support helps us to work toward that goal."

The jam-packed weekend includes the 67th Annual Junior Boys Championship, the 93rd Annual Amateur Championship, the Inaugural Mid-Amateur Men's Championship and the Inaugural Senior Men's Championship.

All four championships will take place at the picturesque Timberwolf Golf Club in Sudbury, Ontario and will act as official Golf Ontario qualifying events, as part of the newly-formed partnership between Golf Ontario and the NGA in December 2018.
